Sculptures by John Welch |
|
John Welch uses the lost wax process to create beautiful bronze sculptures that he is offering to collectors of fine art.
John's love affair with nature began at an early age. He has studied wildlife for most of his 60 plus years. His years of study, both in the field and formal studies, have made his knowledge of animal anatomy a vital tool in his realistic creations. John's search for perfection is manifested in each piece of art he creates.

"THE CHAMPIONS" If
you are a rodeo fan, you know these two. Lane Frost and Red Rock are legends in the
rodeo world. They have thrilled fans all over the good old U.S.A. Both were
1987 World Champions and are in the Cowboy Hall of Fame. They are gone now, but you
can still enjoy them with this beautifully detailed bronze of them competing as they did
in the "Challenge of Champions." |

"AWESOME" "Awesome!" is usually the response we
get when people first see this piece and that is why it is named as such. Typical of
the artist's work, this bronze has to be seen to be appreciated because of all the detail
in the base and on the moose. |

This is a Bull Elk bugling his claim to a
harem of cows. |

"CALIFORNIA GRIZZLY" California Grizzly represents California's once proud
Grizzly that rivaled the great "Alaskan Brown Bear." They were reported by
reliable sources to have been every bit as big as their brothers to the north and ready to
fight at any provocation. "California Grizzly" is also
